　　本剧根据赫斯特报业集体的首席内容官Joanna meijubar.net Coles的生平改编。剧集讲述了负责全球女性杂志《Scarlet》的人的神奇人生中的爱恨情仇：一代崛起的《Scarlet》背后的女人们相互依靠，试图在一众威严的领导们面前发出自己的声音，她们一起探索性别、身份、爱和时尚。
