　　蒂姆·伯顿构思的全新怪奇剧集《星期三》即将于Netflix上线。这部结合推理、超自然及悬疑元素的剧集讲述珍娜·奥尔特加饰演的星期三·亚当斯在永封学院的校园生活。演员阵容包括凯瑟琳·泽塔-琼斯、路易斯·古兹曼、格温多兰·克里斯蒂、克里斯蒂娜·里奇。登登登登，哒哒！

　　这部电视剧翻拍自曾经票房大热的同名电影《为人父母》，担任执行制片人的是Ron Howard和Brian Grazer（曾凭借《美丽心灵》问鼎奥斯卡奖），Jason Katims（《胜利之光》）兼任编剧和执行制片人，艾美奖得主Thomas Schlamme（《西区故事》）导演首集。故事讲述了Braverman一家并不完美但多姿多彩的生活－－四个兄弟姐妹分享为人父母带来的烦恼、悲伤和喜悦。演员整容令人眩目，包括Peter Krause、Lauren Graham、Craig T. Nelson、Dax Shepard、Bonnie Bedelia、Monica Potter、Erika Christensen、Sarah Ramos和Savannah Argenti。
　　当饱受金钱困扰的单身妈妈Sarah Braverman（Lauren Graham，《吉尔莫女孩》），卖掉了弗雷斯诺（加利福尼亚中部城市）的公寓，带着她两个玩劣不堪的孩子Amber（Mae Whitman）和Drew（Miles Heizer）回到伯克利（加利福尼亚西部城市）的父母家里时，受到了父母的热情欢迎。顽固不化的父亲Zeek（Craig T. 　　Braverman 家和所有三代同堂的家庭一样，有争执、有嬉闹、有亲情。他们世代居住在伯克利的老房子里，Sarah（Lauren Graham）是惟一踏出过伯克利的家庭成员，却因为财政危机不得不带着两个未成年的孩子Drew（Miles Heizer）和Amber（Mae Whitman）离开弗雷斯诺回到父母身边，与父亲Zeek（Craig T. Nelson）和母亲Camille（Bonnie Bedelia）住在一起。
　　Sarah的兄弟姐妹－－魅力男孩Adam（Peter Krause），工作狂Julia（Erika Chrstensen）和懒鬼Crosby（Dax Shepard），各有各的烦心事儿。身为律师的Julia惭愧地发现，女儿Sydney（Savannah Argenti）和待业在家的老爸Joel（Sam Jaeger）更加亲昵；音乐制作人Crosby的女友兼老板Katie（Marguerite Moreau）正给他施加「生育压力」；Adam和他憔悴不堪的妻子Kristina（Monica Potter）有个古灵精怪的儿子Max（Max Burkholder），Max最近被查出患有某种疾病，这可能改变这一家人的命运。

　　Luc Besson制作, Liam Neeson主演的动作大片《飓风营救 Taken》的前传剧版被NBC预订。电影《飓风营救》讲述的是一个退休的CIA如何拯救自己女儿的故事，电影第一部的上映让60岁的男演员Liam Neeson一夜成为动作男星，成功的全球票房让其顺利 拍摄了第二和第三部。
　　如今《飓风营救》的制作人Luc不满足于系列电影的完结，把野心投向了电视剧改编，前传将会讲述年轻的Bryan Mills（Liam Neeson饰演电影角色）的故事。前传中的Bryan Mills尚无妻女，剧情将主要围绕Bryan Mills如何培养和成就他的特殊技能，变成一个让坏人闻风丧胆的角色。
　　《维京传奇 Vikings》的Clive Standen饰演主角Bryan Mills。该角色在电影中Liam Neeson饰演。已取消TNT剧《灵动证据 Proof》主演Jennifer Beals饰演女主演Christina Hart，是国家情报副总监，Bryan Mills是她的手下。受过良好教育﹑强势﹑有丰富现场经验的她，负责了剧中的OPCON小队（Operational Control），专门处理美国国家安全紧急事务。
　　Gaius Charles饰演John，一个天生的领导者，不怒自威中也体现出其个人沉静的超凡魅力。Monique Gabriela Curnen饰演Becca Vlasik，必不可少的成员；James Landry Hebert饰演 Rem，为人严肃紧张；他正在积极治疗自己的创伤后应激障碍。三人皆是OPCON小队成员。
　　在《真探 True Detective》演出多集的Michael Irby常规角色Scott，他是个有点宅男属性，经常考验别人底线。曾在《行尸走肉 The Walking Dead》演出的Jose Pablo Cantillo常规角色Dave，日常他看似对任何事都不认真，但当出现情况时，他可以立即认真起来。他们亦是OPCON小队一员。
　　Jennifer Marsala饰演Riley，OPCON小队的成员，负责为小队提供战术支援的地勤成员。Simu Liu饰演重要循环角色Faaron，是OPCON小队中的支援组成员。

　　Who is God? Where did we come from? Why does evil happen? What happens when we die? Every human being on earth has asked themselves these questions at some point, and most likely each person has found a different answer.This series will take viewers on a trip around the world to explore different cultures and religions on the ultimate quest to uncover the meaning of life, God and all these big questions in between.
　　The series seeks to understand how religion has evolved throughout the course of civilization, and in turn how religion has shaped the evolution of society. Although in our current geopolitical landscape, religion is often seen as something that divides, the series illuminates the remarkable similarities among different faiths, even those that seem to be in staunch contrast. This is a quest for God: to shed light on the questions that have puzzled, terrified and inspired mankind, not to mention Freeman himself.
　　Each episode is centered on a different big question about the divine:
　　Creation – Are there similarities among the religious creation stories from around the world? How do they compare with the scientific theory of the creation of the cosmos and the dawn of civilization?
　　Who Is God? – How has the perception of God evolved over human history? Is God just an idea, and if so, can we find evidence of a divine presence in our brains?
　　Evil – What is the root of evil and how has our idea of it evolved over the millennia? Is the devil real? The birth of religion may be inextricably tied to the need to control evil.
　　Miracles – Are miracles real? For many believers, miracles are the foundation of their faith. Others regard miracles as merely unlikely events on which our brains impose divine meaning. Belief in miracles, however we define them, could be what gives us hope and drives us to turn possibility into reality.
　　End of Days – Violent upheaval and fiery judgment fill popular imagination, but was the lore of apocalypse born out of the strife that plagued the Middle East two millennia ago? The true religious meaning of the apocalypse may not be a global war, but an inner revelation.
　　Resurrection – How have beliefs in the afterlife developed, and how has our reaction to the afterlife changed the way we live this life? Now that science is making such rapid advances, we may soon be confronted with digital resurrection. What will that do to our beliefs?
　　To explore each of these topics, host and narrator Freeman went on the ground to some of humanity’s greatest religious sites, including Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall, India’s Bodhi Tree, Mayan temples in Guatemala and the pyramids of Egypt. He traveled with archaeologists to uncover the long-lost religions of our ancestors, such as those at the 7500 B.C. Neolithic settlement Çatalhöyük in Turkey. He immersed himself in religious experiences and rituals all around the world, and became a test subject in scientific labs to examine how the frontiers of neuroscience are intersecting the traditional domain of religion.
