朝比奈元子（桥本爱 饰）是一名在研究生院学习德语的女学生，因为个性内向，元子常常感到自己无法顺利的融入集体之中，并且为此而感到非常困扰。一天，教授榊郁夫（田中泯 饰）夸赞了元子的日语，令其如沐春风，从这一天起，元子开始留心起这位年迈但是温文尔雅的老教授，在他的身上，元子感受到了一股非常强烈的吸引力。 在参加集训的过程里，元子结识了田中莲（工藤阿须加 饰）和其爱慕者树里，这又是一段令人动容的虐恋。田中和树里的悲欢离合让元子决定将自己的心意向郁夫坦白。后者真的会接受这样一段注定不可能被世俗所接纳的感情吗？
Channel5和Acorn TV宣布续订《达格利什》第二季。
珍娜·科尔曼主演的宫廷剧《维多利亚女王》正式宣布续订第3季。科尔曼和饰演阿尔伯特亲王的汤姆·休斯(剧里新婚，现实里也是一对~)双双确定回归，剧情将设定在1848年，继续维多利亚女王动荡多变的人生，据说会比前两季更抓马。目前回归日期未定，但今年圣诞确定有一集特别集。
